The High tech giant IBM founded in 1911 as the Computing Tabulating Recording Company (CTR) is celebrating 100 years of progress.
IBM is a key player in transforming business models in emerging sectors including banking and insurance, Telecom, infrastructure, healthcare, travel and transport, media and entertainment, Security software solutions. IBM has recently been significantly influential in the government sectors of Brazil, Africa and India investing in immense high-tech projects aiming for long term return of investment.
It’s reported of $14 billion of investment made in different systematic acquisitions by IBM so far.
